This warm, welcoming spot’s run by the Geisler family, who bring true Tyrolean charm to every part of your stay. From lovingly prepared local cuisine and friendly service to the traditional alpine architecture and staff in local dress, you’ll feel the care in all the small touches.
When it’s time to head out for your ski day, it’s an easy 3-minute stroll to the main Isskogelbahn lift taking you to the heart of the area’s ski action. If you’ve a few seasons under your belt, you can ski right back to the hotel on a red run. Or, if you’re more of a newbie, just head back down the lift and the hotel’s close by.
Food here’s a real treat, with owner Charly cooking up fresh dishes with locally-sourced ingredients – some even come from their own garden. The Crystal Bar’s just the place for a post-ski drink with a tempting range of over 60 cocktails. The crystal-decked décor and crystal fire add a sparkle to your après, while the Geisler’s home-made crystal gin with wild Gerlos berries is a must-try.
Wellness takes on a local feel too, with a sauna made from repurposed wood from a cow shed. Plus, you can gaze at the starry sky ceiling as you soak in the steam bath or dip your toes in the spring-fed Kneipp pool.

Tourist Tax
In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.
These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.
Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
