Super close to the gondola, simple yet stylish rooms and some great spots when it comes to kicking back and relaxing – Valaisia Crans-Montana ticks a lot of boxes. Naturally a high priority on a ski trip, that first one’s a biggie. From here, you’re only a 3-minute stroll from one of the resort’s two main lifts – things don’t get much more convenient than that. After a short ride, you’ll have your pick of the runs and be well on your way to the top of Bella Lui.
Simply put, the hotel looks sharp. The communal areas are really nicely designed with an attractive marriage of alpine and contemporary style, plus just a dash of art deco sprinkled in for flavour. Furs and reclaimed wood patterns in the lounge and some snazzy retro prints in the dining room add some classic ski charm, while pastel colours and quirky details have a kind of vintage vogue about them – visually, it makes for an effective and rather charming one-two punch.
At Faern Crans-Montana Valaisia, the resort’s your oyster. If your preferred way to après means hitting the town and trying out the bars, you’re pretty close by. If you crave something more peaceful though or just want to unwind a little before you get the gang together, then the hotel has some options. The pool and sauna are always great post-ski for winding down and chilling out. To really luxuriate though, you might want to pay a visit to the spa – if you’re happy to pay extra for a treat.

Tourist Tax
In some resorts, you’ll need to pay a small fee called a ‘tourist tax' at your accommodation, either when you check in or check out.
These taxes can change at short notice, so it’s always worth checking the latest details before you travel.
Good to know: Not all accommodation accepts card payments for taxes, so you may need to pay in cash instead. For some countries, tourist taxes are calculated based on an accommodation's official rating, which can be different to its rating on our/the operators site.
