The Hotel Neuhaus is a whole mini-village in Mayrhofen with access to some of the best skiing in Austria. The hotel is made up of two wings that are connected by an underground passage – the original Neuhaus and the St Josef.
The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from Mayrhofen’s busy centre, so you’re not far from the bars, shops and restaurants. And as for the skiing, it takes around 10 minutes to walk up to the Penken gondola. Or walk for one minute to the bus and train station to make your way over to some of the quieter areas within the Ziller valley – all covered on the Zillertal area lift pass.
The Kamillendörfl’s top-drawer when it comes to relaxation. Dip your toes in the indoor pool with panoramic windows, dial up the heat in the sauna, relax in the mild heat of the rock crystal bath or soak under the essential oils of the blossom steam bath. Kids are more than sorted too, with Seppi’s waterslides perfect for super post-ski splash-time.
Whichever building you’re staying in, all meals are eaten in the Neuhaus. Eggs are cooked to order by the chef at breakfast. And there’s a wide range on the buffet including fresh breads, meats, cheeses, cereals and juices. In the evenings, tuck into Austrian specialities with a modern twist, or stick to the international classics that you know and love.
