Premium Residence Arc 1950 Le Village Les Arcs, France
Feel right at the heart of mountain life in The Arc 1950 Le Village – a far cry from your standard self-catering pick. Designed by the same developers as Canada’s famous Whistler resort, Arc 1950 has a buzzing, pedestrianised centre, a traditional alpine-village feel and blow-you-away views of the mountains. At its heart are these high-end, chalet-style apartments, spread out across seven buildings as part of a huge complex of restaurants, shops and cafes. The whole place is ski-in, ski-out too – a dream if you’re the type who loves to step out the front door and ski the day away.
Whether you’re wintering as a couple, family or gang of up to eight, finding an apartment to suit your needs is a breeze. Each comes with a fully-kitted kitchen and dining space – so after stocking up at the local supermarket or boulangerie, you can enjoy whipping up your own mountain meals. And you won’t need to worry about making up beds or cleaning at the end of your stay – that’s all taken care of.
Whichever apartment you go for, time in an outdoor heated pool is on the cards – some even with Mont Blanc views. But for post-piste relaxation that takes it up a notch, you might want to treat yourself to a sesh in the Deep Nature Spa. It's an all-out R&R haven, with a variety of grotto-styled pools, saunas and relaxation areas – and of course offering massages and treatments too. Also for a little extra is Yeti Camp, where youngsters can have bags of fun igloo building, sled racing and more.
Please be aware that access to the indoor and outdoor pools will vary depending on which building guests are allocated during their stay. This is determined by the owners of the Arc 1950 Le Village complex and it is not possible to request a specific building when booking.
Leisure facilities including the pool, hot tub and sauna are all in the Arc 1950 village centre and may be further away from some apartments.
Self-catering apartment with kitchenette facilities
All apartments have a kitchen with electric hob, oven or combi microwave grill, fridge, coffee-machine and dishwasher, as well as a satellite TV with international channels, hairdryer, free WiFi and safe. Bed linen, towels, soap, cleaning kit and end-of-stay cleaning (excluding kitchen) are included. Beds are made up on arrival.
When you arrive, you’ll need to provide a credit card to be scanned. A €1 payment will be taken to secure this card, so that any additional costs (such as damage or cleaning charges) may be deducted at the end of your stay. If you can only pay by cash, you’ll need to pay a cash deposit of approx. €300 for each apartment on your booking. Check our Crystal A-Z for more information on deposits.

The advantage of booking a self-catered skiing holiday is often the price. The disadvantages mean either eating out, which in a ski resort is often expensive, or it means having to cook your own meals, which probably means less time skiing, and who really wants to shop and then cook an evening meal after a full days skiing?
Huski, the Alps-based catering business offers a great solution, that means you can still enjoy the great value of a ski apartment or self-catered chalet and eat well without the fuss of having to cook your own food.
Huski delivers a week’s worth of dishes, freshly frozen and ready for you to just heat and serve.
Huski catering is only available to properties in French ski resorts.
