The spectacular ski lodge in Val d’Isere was newly refurbished for the 2016/17 season offering style and comfort for up to 86 guests. The Lodge combines the charm and comfort of a traditional Alpine ski lodge with contemporary styling and stunning interiors. Complete with a roaring fire, fabulous facilities and rustic atmosphere, the lodge offers some of the best hospitality in the French Alps.
The refurbishment included an entirely new reception, bar, living area and dining room. In addition to adding 6 new bedrooms, all existing bedrooms will be refurbished with new beds, cupboard doors and wooden headboards with built-in reading lights and plug sockets. Bathrooms will also be refurbished, complete with heated mirrors.
Anyone who has previously stayed in The Lodge won’t be surprised to learn that it is a hugely popular property. Maybe it’s the facilities which give it an edge, including the brand new massage room with treatments payable in resort, a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, heated boot dryers and complimentary WiFi. The bedrooms are all en suite and come with flat-screen TVs, and iPod docks are available on request for all rooms. Many have balconies too. For us, it is all these features, as well as the added Ski Lodge* service, which will make your stay a truly memorable one.
As most rooms can be configured with either twin beds or a king-sized double bed, we will make them up as twins unless advised otherwise. The Lodge offers great value accommodation with extra beds in rooms 3, 4, 7, 104, 105, 108, 204, 205, 208, 304, 305 and 308. These rooms are also are ideal for children, when occupying the extra beds they enjoy half the adult full price making the Lodge a great choice for families.
This property is a Ski Lodge, so you can enjoy all the comforts of a chalet holiday, with many great facilities you would only normally find in a hotel.
Smaller parties of up to 10, looking for a more intimate retreat can book Chalet Cime, which is situated in the same building as the Lodge and enjoys all the spectacular facilities it has to offer.
Pick up and drop off service available for ski hire
Situated just off Val d’Isère’s main street, The Lodge is close enough to the action to make the most of this world class resort, yet enjoys just enough distance to find a little peace and quiet. The main lift station is an easy 500 metres (approx.) walk, or even easier - is to hop on the free ski bus which stops just 200 metres away.
A tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by local councils in European ski resorts to support the local tourism infrastructure and may include services such as ski buses, subsidised admission to amenities e.g. pools and ice rinks and events such as firework displays. The amount charged varies according to the standard and type of your accommodation. It is also not paid by all skiers as it is age dependent. Therefore it is not included in the basic price of your holiday as we do not have all skiers’ ages at the time of booking.
Chalet board in this property includes an enhanced breakfast, afternoon tea and cake, 4-course evening meal with a choice of dishes followed by chocolate and coffee for one night less than the duration of your 7 night holiday. (e.g. 6 evening meals for a 7 night holiday, 3 evening meals for a 4 night holiday and 12 evening meals for a 14 night holiday). Please note that wine is NOT included in this property but is available at a cost from the bar and restaurant.

Vegetarian menus can always be provided in our chalets as long as we are notified in advance. Please ensure this is noted on your invoice. If we are not notified before arrival, there is a £25 (€30) charge payable in resort. There is a daily vegetarian option available in all our lodges.
We may be able to cater for special diets such as Vegan, gluten free, diary free but this is subject to the availability of specialist ingredients locally so this must be discussed with our team before booking. If we are able to cater for your request, there will be a charge as detailed below to contribute to the cost of additional ingredients and deliveries. All such requests should be discussed with our team at least 14 days prior to departure and you must ensure this is noted on your invoice. If you arrive in resort without having discussed and had noted and confirmed any special dietary requests with us, we cannot guarantee we will be able to cater for your needs. If we are able to do so, there will be a charge of £50 or €60 in resort.
