Our delightful new Chalet Chenille sleeps up to 12 people comfortably in 4 bedrooms. All have full ensuite or private facilities and are located on the 2nd floor of the chalet. Rooms 1 and 2 both have a mezzanine which can each sleep an extra two people (ideal for families or those on a bit of a budget) in twin beds. The first floor has a large and bright open plan living dining area with huge picture window and balcony overlooking the picturesque river below. There are books, a TV with DVD´s, and Ipod compatible hifi and games to keep you entertained. A large log fire will keep you cosy and complimentary WIFI is available in the chalet. On the ground floor there is a large boot room (complete with boot dryer) with plenty of space to store your skis, boards and helmets.

This chalet is located in the village of Les Bettex near Les Menuires.

Chalet Chenille is ideal for a small group of family or friends, if you wish to bring a larger group then why not rent it along with Chalet Papillion? Both chalets will sleep a group of up to 20 people!

The chalet is in the pretty, traditional village of Bettaix (or Bettex) at 1600m and is conveniently located between the 3 Valley resorts of Les Menuires (1850m) and St Martin de Belleville (1450m) with easy access to high altitude Val Thorens (2300m) at the end of the valley and Meribel and Courchevel in neighboring valleys.

The chalet shares the same building with its sister chalet Papillion. Both are in a peaceful, quiet location on the Doron River just below the beautiful peaks of La Masse and situated less than 100 meters from the Bettex chairlift. This gives easy access into Les Menuires and beyond to Val Thorens and the rest of the 600km of piste in the 3 Valleys domain.

The Bettex blue piste which runs back down into the village (almost to the chalet door in good conditions) is a nice and gentle piste that is easily manageable at the end of a hard day´s skiing and always has a good cover of snow until the end of the ski season. Snow cannons keep the piste topped up with good snow if needed.

The village has a ski hire shop, a bar and a good restaurant and retains a lovely traditional charm. Perfect for a quiet break in the extensive 3 valleys ski area but away from the hustle and bustle of the better known resort centers.

Yummy cakes or other delicious treats will be freshly prepared every day and laid out for your return from the slopes, even on your chalet hosts day off! You can help yourself to tea and coffee too in front of a lovely, warm, log fire in one of the comfortable chalet lounges and relax after a hard day on the pistes!

On the first and last night of your holiday you will be serve pre-dinner canapés and aperitifs.

On one evening you will be served a cheeseboard with a variety of delicious cheeses, some of which are made locally and are a must for cheese lovers

The complimentary wines we serve for the duration of dinner each night have been specially selected by us because they are incredibly drinkable, full of well rounded fruit flavours, good acidity and match the food we serve perfectly. Your chalet hosts will have a number of different wines for you to try thoughout your stay. Something to suit everyones taste!

Children´s high teas

We serve high tea for children at 6pm. It is up to you if your children eat high tea or dinner with the adults; we´ll arrange it in advance with you to help us plan your menu for the week. We know how important it is for your children to eat well when they’re skiing so we will take advice from you on their likes & dislikes. Because all our food is made from scratch we can even try to hide the vegetables if you need us to!  Our chalet chefs can make all of the tried and tested meals that children like to eat but from fresh ingredients.

You are welcome to help yourself to tea & coffee at any time of day.

Breakfast hot option and dinner is not served on chalet hosts´ day off; your hosts will of course leave out breakfast and afternoon tea for you and can recommend and book a restaurant for you.

We offer generous discounts to all groups who can book every bed in this chalet, please call us for more details
