Chalet Arnica is an attractive chalet apartment on the edge of the piste, sleeping up to fourteen people - it is ideal for a group of family and friends travelling to La Rosiere. Our chalets are on hand to help, you can enjoy six days of chalet catering including a skiers breakfast, afternoon tea and delicious evening meals with wine included. Chalet Arnica is shared with our sister company Esprit Ski who specialise in family ski holidays.

Piste-side location

If you like hitting the slopes as early as possible and getting back in time for the après ski, you'll benefit choosing this catered ski chalet. Located 150 metres from the ski lifts and you'll be able to get on and off the slopes with ease - perfect for the keen skiers and snowboarders looking for catered accommodation in a great location.

Ideal for sole occupancy groups

With attractive bedrooms and the possibility to accommodate up to 14 people, invite your family and your friends to spend a week in this cosy chalet. The open-plan lounge and dining area is a mix of traditional and modern with tiled flooring, a welcoming fireplace - it is a great spot to catch up with your family and friends with a bit of cake and a coffee after a day on the slopes. There is also a shared sauna for guests staying in the Ferme D'Elisa chalets.

Family friendly

Chalet Arnica is perfect for families, it is shared with this operator's sister company who specialise in family skiing holidays and childcare. La Rosiere is one of their partners main hubs for childcare, which can include infant care, Snow Club, Xtra lessons and Mountain Academy. Children booked into their partners children’s ski lessons will be collected by their Rangers from the chalet and taken to the ski school meeting place. Ground floor

Shared sauna and ski and boot room for the Ferme d'Elisa Chalets is on the ground floor, as is the Esprit Snow Club room.

First floor

The comfortable accommodation occupies the whole of the first floor of the Ferme d'Elisa building and offers well-designed inter-connecting family suites and rooms, as well as one twin room, with all the bedrooms having either private or en suite bathrooms. The open-plan lounge and dining area is a mix of traditional and modern with tiled flooring, a welcoming fireplace, comfortable sofas and wood panelling.

Suites 1 & 2 and Room 3 will take a cot, and Sutie 4 will take up to two cots.

We set high standards for our cuisine, and train our staff extensively before the season starts, to ensure that Esprit guests will enjoy every meal with us. Our chalets includes a skiers' buffet breakfast to start your day, afternoon tea to welcome you 'home', and evening meals with a starter, main and dessert, plus wine and coffee to complete the evening.

Our catered ski chalets are the perfect base for your alpine holiday. Your chalet hosts will be ready to help you with all aspects of your holiday, ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

You can expect plenty of home-cooked comfort food to fuel your ski days, so all you have to do is get up and go skiing. As well as preparing and serving meals, your host will also clean-up and make beds for you. After all, you're on holiday!

Full of thoughtful touches, each chalet boasts an inviting atmosphere and plenty of space to relax after a day on the slopes. Our chalet staff

We are frequently told by guests that ‘The team made our holiday!’ – a compliment we are determined to live up to. Our chalet hosts are all enthusiastic cooks, who look forward to providing you the warm welcome, delicious food and friendly service which lie at the heart of an chalet holiday.

Most are also avid skiers or snowboarders, and love nothing more than to share their knowledge and passion for the slopes with our guests.

Our larger chalets have a professional chalet chef to cook for you, with chalet assistants helping to serve all meals and look after the chalet’s house-keeping duties.

Children in Chalets

Children aged 12 years and over are welcome in all chalets on all dates.
Children 11 years and under are also welcome as follows – in any chalet on any date where one group books the entire chalet for their exclusive use (see our Group Holidays page for details of our Group Reductions) - in any other chalet on peak holiday dates only, ie. on departures 12th & 19th Feb, 26th March and 2nd, 9th & 16th April 2022. For winter 2022/23 children are welcome without taking exclusive use for weeks commencing 17th, 24th & 31st Dec, 11th & 18th Feb, 25th Mar and 1st & 8th Apr.
We serve a separate High Tea at 5:30pm for children aged 10 years and under with an appropriate menu. Unless children are part of an ‘exclusive use’ whole-chalet booking in chalets, it is not possible for children aged 10 years and under to eat at the adult sitting.
Children aged 11 years and under are part of an ‘exclusive use’ whole-chalet booking, parents may elect for their children to eat with them at the adult meal times on payment of a £39 per child per week supplement.

Christmas & New Year Celebrations

Join us for a proper ‘White Christmas’ in the Alps! All our chalets have a Christmas tree and most have log fires, so combined with great food, good company, and no cooking or washing up, there’s no better place to be! We serve turkey with all the trimmings on Christmas Day, with a pre-dinner glass of Champagne, mince pies and Christmas pudding to follow crackers.
On New Year’s Eve, all our chalets serve a special Celebration Menu, preceded by a glass of Champagne. After dinner join the resort festivities, generally with fireworks to see in the New Year.
