Spoil yourself with a few nights of secluded luxury at the resort synonymous with Robert Redford and his Film Festival. Located beneath 12,000 ft Mount Timpanagos, Sundance offers 450 acres of downhill terrain as well as many miles of cross-country trails. The resort has an old-world rustic feel and accommodation consists of individual, beautifully-decorated cottages.
The skiing
Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Sundance Resort has been named as one of the best lesser-known ski areas in the country by Ski magazine's editors. Its spectacular lodging, uncrowded slopes, terrain for all skiing abilities and arresting alpine scenery make Sundance a "diamond in the rough" ski destination. Dedicated to serious skiers, Sundance Resort is focused on a pro-environment, a minimal impact, mountain experience. With Mount Timpanogos signalling its beauty in the distance, Sundance offers a quad lift and two triple-chair lifts allowing access to 41 roomy trails with varying bumps, bowls and chutes.
Sundance is not blessed with quite as much snow as Alta or Snowbird, but more than makes up for it with character and charm! It receives an average of 320 inches of snow a year. 450 acres of pristine wilderness beckoning skiers to powder paradise.

Intermediate
With a vertical drop of 2,150 feet and elevation level of 8,250 feet, Sundance offers a vast diversity of terrains, including one of the finest intermediate-expert bowls in the Wasatch range called Bishop's Bowl.
Beginners
The lower part of the mountain has easy learners slopes with inviting steeper pistes to progress on to a little higher up - many of them named after Robert Redford’s films!
Snowboarding
Four hundred and fifty acres of pristine wilderness beckon snowboarders to powder paradise at Sundance Resort. With a vertical drop of 2,150 feet and elevation level of 8,250 feet, Sundance offers a vast diversity of terrains including gentle green circles to challenging double black diamonds. Whether hitting the trails or meeting new extremes, Sundance delights boarders with a terrain park with plenty of hits to complete any day of fun.

family facilities are particularly good.
Après ski
Sundance has a great selection of activities like pottery, photography, jewellery making and yoga to enjoy after or instead of skiing. The historic and atmospheric Owl Bar is of course the place to go après-ski!
