Accommodation records for resort:
Host to the 2002 Winter Olympics and “The Greatest Snow on Earth” are the 8 world-class ski areas all covered on one lift pass. Park City dates back to the great silver mining boom of the 1870’s is a tremendously fun place to stay, close to Deer Valley & The Canyons Ski areas.
Park City Ski Resort Information
This delightful resort is just a 45min transfer from Salt Lake City and offers a fantastic restored main street which really shows the history of this old silver mining town. The resort has three main ski areas on the ski pass to choose from which consist Park City itself, Deer Valley and The Canyons which are all linked by a looped local bus. If you like to try other resort and you have a car you can easily reach both Alta and Snowbird within an hour or so.
The accommodation in this resort is spread out amongst the suburbs so a car is helpful although all areas can be easily reached on the local bus.
Ski Line offer all sorts of accommodation in Park City, from self catered apartments to half board hotels.

Après Ski in the Ski resort of Park City
Main Street is where it’s all at with an array of shops, galleries restaurants and bars to choose from. You will be spoilt for choice when eating out in this resort with burgers, Tex mex, Thai, Italian, etc you name it – they’ve got it!
The best après ski at the base can be found at ‘legends’, then you could move on to the No Name saloon which also has live music. Later on there are a handful of good clubs to choose from.

Activities off the slopes in the ski resort of Park City
Have you ever been anywhere where you can learn to ski jump? – Well this is the place to go! There’s also snowmobiling and an Olympic bob track. Robert Redford has his famous Sundance film festival here in January too. You can take a balloon flight here too. Trips out to Nevada for gambling or Salt Lake City for the shopping, Mormon heritage sites or the large concert halls are popular. If you stay in resort you could ice skating or visit the local factory outlet mall, there’s pools and spas in many hotels and the local racquet club offers tennis and racquetball too.

Beginners skiing in the ski resort of Park City
There’s nursery slopes at the base with some short lifts, and a nice long wide easy green to progress to further up the hill. Once this is mastered there are some more intermediate runs to choose from.

Intermediates skiing in the ski resort of Park City
Upper Intermediates will be happiest in this resort as the blue runs here are limited and mainly short. If you prefer red runs you will find plenty to choose from. The ski schools here are not cheap but worth every penny – we’ve had great reports.

Advanced skiing in the ski resort of Park City
There’s a huge variety of terrain here for the advanced skier or boarder here. The Jupiter lift, although old and slow is worth the ride as it accesses some fantastic steep couloirs, cliffs and if you are prepared to hike a bit, some little found fresh powder. There are some great back bowls such as Pinecone ridge and Scott’s bowl which run for miles and miles. . One recommended area is the Utah interconnect which is a guided tour (with a bit of hiking involved) if you can ski knee deep powder you will be in heaven here.

Snowboarding in the ski resort of Park City
The terrain parks are said to be some of the best in the world with an abundance of rails pipes and kickers to choose from. Its funny how until 1996 snowboarding was banned from this resort! They’ve made up for it big time and now attract a huge boarding community from all over the world.
