Keystone ski resort information
Set in Colorado Keystone has 3 mountains offering 2000 acres of great skiing on immaculate tree lined runs for all levels of skier. It is also famed for its night skiing where you can ski runs up to 3 miles long on the floodlit or moonlit pistes!
The three mountains are named Dercum North Peak and Outback. Dercum is best suited to beginners and intermediates and North Peak and Outback are better suited to more intermediate and advanced skiers. Keystone is purpose built, clean and tidy it’s a well kept resort both on and off the slopes.
There are many non skiing activities too.
Keystone itself has an attractive pedestrianised centre which is names River Run and houses the main shops bares and restaurants. Accommodations split into seven different areas which house secluded chalets, condos and hotels.

One great idea is to take advantage of the night skiing and take a moonlight gondola for a fondue evening up on the mountainside. There’s a good selection of bars, some with live music too.

Keystone offers many different non skiing pursuits. Why not try Snow biking, a relaxing sleigh ride, a more energetic session of Ice skating or a wind down with a yoga session. Dercum Mountains lower slopes are perfect to learn to ski on with wide well groomed slopes to gain confidence on. The prospector run is perfect to progress on to and is a little higher up. The ski schools in this area have a good reputation.

Keystone will suite intermediates skiers who like their wide corduroy runs. All mountains will delight here. The night skiing is great fun and is a must if you visit this resort.
Advanced skiing in the ski resort of Keystone
Head to the Outback Mountain as this is where you will find all of the main black runs in keystone. You can also take a Snow Cat to the mountains north and south bowls.

Snowboarders will love the A51 terrain Park which is highly renowned for its facilities with over 100 features which include tables, jumps half pipes rails and jibs and its very own chairlift. The pistes will delight especially on Outback Mountain.
