Situated in the 'Beverly Hills' of Zermatt, Winkelmatten, this chalet has recently been upgraded to maximise the use of its interior layout.  The separate lounge and dining room both have fabulous views of the Matterhorn.

The location is wonderful, with incredible views and easy access to and from Zermatt's fantastic skiing. The chalet is just 6 minutes' downhill walk to the Klein Matterhorn high-speed gondola and 12 minutes from the start of the bars and shops. For the Sunegga or Gornergrat lifts, the free ski-bus takes just ten minutes, and stops conveniently 100m away.

Under normal conditions, you can ski back to within 2 minutes' walk of the chalet from either the Gornergrat or Klein Matterhorn areas.

Children in chalet... Please note that on non school holiday dates children under the age of 13 may not be permitted unless the group have taken booked the whole chalet. Please also note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge.
