Monalisa is a spacious duplex (two floor) penthouse apartment set in a cozy chalet in the heart of Winkelmatten, the Beverly Hills district of Zermatt. It sleeps 6 (with the possibility of 2 additional children) in 3 double bedrooms with two bathrooms.

Located on the top floor, the master bedroom suite consists of a double bedroom and an adjoining study with two single sofa-beds; the interconnecting door can be closed. This arrangement is perfect if you would like to have your children sleep near you. The suite has its own south facing balcony with Matterhorn views. Also on this floor you will find a large bathroom with a massage steam shower, jacuzzi bath and WC; and the second double bedroom. The ceilings are lovely sloping wooden-beamed chalet styled.

Down the helical staircase you come back to the main floor, which is where the third double bedroom is, next to a spacious bathroom with shower and WC. The living area is open plan, with a superb modern kitchen, cozy sofas next to the fireplace, and a wooden dining table seating eight.

There are numerous windows around three sides of this south facing space, with a bay window around the dining table and French windows leading to the large, sunny, wrap-around balcony, which has glorious views of the Matterhorn.

30 seconds away there is a small supermarket, a stylish cafe-restaurant and the electric bus stop. If you prefer to walk, the centre of Zermatt is 12 minutes away. By taking the Moos resort run, you can ski to within 3 minutes of the chalet at the end of the day (snow conditions permitting).

The chalet is situated in the Winkelmatten hamlet, just 50 m away from the chapel, next to which there is a convenience store, cafe/restaurant and bus-stop. It is a 2 minute bus ride or a 5 minute walk down to the Matterhorn Express base lift station.

Mona Lisa provides very generous space for six across two floors, with extensive sunny balconies and in a quiet location.

The chalet has a ski-room and a laundry room.
