Chalet Ambience was newly built in 2006 to a very high specification, it is contemporary in design and is a fantastic property in Winklematten, it is possible to ski to within 100 metres of the chalet.

The chalet is free-standing four storey building (with an elevator)  and is made up of four units which can be booked separately or together, two eight bed apartments and two three bed apartments sleeping a total of 28 guests.

The chalet is 20 minutes walk from the centre of the village and 5 minutes from the main ski lift, alternatively there is a bus-stop 200metres from the chalet which is free with the lift pass. There is a small shop and several bars and restaurant only a few minutes walk from the chalet.

This beautiful 180m2 duplex apartment comprises of a lower floor with a spacious open plan living and dining area, there is an open fire, Plasma TV and DVD with surround sound and a Media home system and there is a fantastic view of the Matterhorn and a South facing balcony. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, steamer and Nespresso machine. There is a guest WC, and one double bedroom with en suite shower/wc, flatscreen TV and a North facing balcony on the lower floor.

There is a wrought iron and glass spiral staircase leading to the upper floor where there are two spacious double bedrooms each with en suite shower/wc and flatscreen TVs. There are south and north facing balconies, the Northern balconies have superb Matterhorn views and the Southern balconies look over the Rothorn. A separate bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath/Rainfall shower and WC and there is a neat Business Corner with computer, fax, scanner and copier.

The basement level consists of a ski room, conference room, a Carnozet (wine cellar) and the Wellness area. There is a Sauna, Steam bath, Aromatherapy Showers and Relaxation area.
