Chalet La Casa is located in a new exclusive area of Zermatt called the 'Petit Village' on the hillside just at the entrance to Zermatt but connected to the river road by a small funicular-style lift. It is possible for intermediate and advanced skiers to ski back to the village from the Sunnegga area.
The chalet is a unique combination of traditional and modern with lovely exposed wooden beams and modern furnishings which really go well together.
The lounge and dining area is very spacious with a wood burning fireplace, flat screen cable TV with international channels, DVD player and a south facing balcony with fantastic views of Zermatt. If groups take over both Chalets A la Casa and Bella Vista next door then arrangements can be made to have meals together in the A la Casa.
As the outdoor hot-tub can only be accessed through Room 1, it is private to guests in that room.
