La Siesta alternatives

One of the quickest ways to ruin a fun day skiing is to feel cold to very cold. It helps to not only dress warmly (multiple layers) and use clothing that "wicks away" moisture to keep you dry but also to have items that "warm up". These include packets that when exposed to air heat up and remain warm for hours. They are perfect for both feet and hands and work terrific. If your extremities are kept warm the rest of you can stay warm (opposite is true if you're overheated)and you're not so uncomfortable with fingers and toes hurting. Keeps the fun going. :)Be prepared!

Siesta is a beautiful 5 star chalet apartment that sleeps up to 16 people.


On the ground floor are 2 twin bedrooms and a double bedroom, all with ensuite bathrooms. There is also 1 bunkroom which has 2 sets of bunk beds and enjoys a West facing balcony, and its own shower room.


An under stairs cupboard includes a wall safe and storage space for suitcases.


The spectacular open plan living area takes up the whole of the first floor. There is a large sitting area, with an open fire and fabulous south facing balcony and views. There is a large dining table to seat all guests in comfort. The feeling of spaciousness is enhanced by the fabulous double height ceilings.


The second floor comprises a spectacular suite with double bedroom, with a further single bed if required and ensuite bathroom.


For larger parties the adjoining apartment can be taken, meaning a total of 16 guests can be very comfortably accommodated. The apartment consists of 1 double and 1 twin bedroom both with ensuite bathrooms and a large reception area. There is a supplementary charge for this.
