Chalet Planalui is one of the largest and most charming chalets in Verbier. Situated in the desirable Mayen area of the resort, the chalet faces the sun throughout the day and offers picturesque views over the village and Alps. It is situated above the Savoleyres ski lift to the north-west of Verbier centre offering easy access to both the town centre and pistes.
Planalui mixes the traditional charm of a large alpine wooden chalet with the comfort of luxurious interior design. The guests can enjoy the stunning antique furniture and paintings combined with state of the art sound systems as well as traditional wood-burning stoves.
The chalet has extensive grounds including western-facing stone terraces and balconies to enjoy the stunning views (usually with a hot drink or two) and freshness of the Alps.
In the basement is a small swimming pool, sauna and steam treatment complex for relaxation and revival of tired muscles.
The chalet can be accessed directly from the mountain, two pathways, or via the large heated underground garage for those wanting to stay warm and dry. A driver is available to take you to and from the lifts each day if required.
There are four bedrooms, each with a bathroom and modern audio/visual equipment. The master bedroom is set in its own suite with two bathrooms, a living area and additional office room. All bedrooms have access to an exterior balcony or terrace and stunning views.
This sprawling chalet also offers a large living and dining areas, TV room and ski equipment room and workshop with heated ski-boot rack.
Planalui gets extra charm from the love and time spent on choosing the 400 year-old antiques, original paintings and decorated doors which fill this property with an outstanding feeling of beauty and attention to detail. |
