Ski Chalet Holidays

A ski chalet holiday is perfect for groups of friends or family members wanting to spend as much time together while away skiing. Ski Line acts as travel agents specialising in catered ski chalet holidays. On this web site you have a choice of either booking one of our chalet package holidays which will include flights and transfers or you could book one of the many privately owned chalets on our books, in most cases these won’t include flights or transfers but we can arrange these for you.

Most catered chalet will include breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes to help tide you over the chalet staff prepare a 3 course even meal served with wine. On at least one night a week the chalet staff will have a night off, this is your chance to dine in a local restaurant. (At your own expense) The chalet staff will make recommendations of where the best places to eat are.

In addition to preparing your meals the chalet staff will keep the chalet clean and tidy through out your stay.

We have chalets across many of our ski resorts although mostly this is a French holiday concept, but due to the popularity of chalet holidays more are spring up in other countries such as Austria and Switzerland in particular.

We also sell chalet rooms individually in many of our catered chalets which mean you would be sharing the chalet with people who at the beginning of the holiday will be strangers, but because of the communal dinning friends are quickly made making a chalet holiday ideal for social people wanting to mix with others.

Chalet holidays with families with children are very popular as it’s an ideal, giving the children a lounge area to play in at the end of the day. Serveral of our chalets also have crèches in house so families with children too young to ski. These chalets will only use qualified nannies that hold required qualifications and all will have police checked for suitability to the role.

Chalet come in all sizes, are smallest is currently for 4 people going up to chalet hotels that can accommodate large groups up to 100+. Most chalets though will have 4 or 5 bedrooms sleeping between 8 to 12 people. Most chalets these days will have ensuite bathrooms; some even have Jacuzzi and saunas.

Our chalets could be located anywhere in the resorts from the most popular ski in ski out chalets located on the piste to chalets that will require a bus to reach the slopes. Many of our chalets now will include a private mini bus service to get guests to and from the slopes each day.

The cost of a chalet holiday will vary in price, our most luxury chalets sell for up to £50,000 for a weeks rental, as you can image at these prices the service is extremely high and the food and wine served is of the highest quality but typically our average chalets sells for around £600 to £900 per person including flights, the cost will vary depending on the time of the season you want to travel. We have graded our chalets as Super Luxury, Luxury, Mid range and Value. For example in our value chalets some of the bedrooms might share a bath room, the furnishing might be a little faded.
