Accommodation records for resort:
Andalo is a connoisseur's ski resort and good skiers really rate it. It's better than the comparitively modest mileage would suggest.
One of the nicest things about Andalo is the friendly village which has both character and life. You don't get high prices or blasé service here. There's an original hamlet with a few rustic old farm buildings and the resort is just below, closer to the lifts.
Off the slopes there is plenty to do with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants and a fine sports complex, which offers ice skating, swimming, karaoke and a disco. There is a toboggan run, tennis courts, a cinema and the horse-drawn sleigh rides through the woods are a special delight.

the skiing
The runs have great variety and the hard working lift company groom them to corduroy perfection. Investment is continuous with millions of Euros being spent in the next few years and the uplift is first class; modern, swift and well organised, with high speed chairs predominating. This season there are 2 new chair lifts and 4 pistes have been widened. The snowmaking system is one of the best in the Dolomites and now covers about 95% of the system.
Everyone who skis here, whatever their standard, however much piste they are used to bashing, comes back with rave reports. Although the piste map covers only a medium sized area, it really is better than many household-name resorts costing considerably more and we have no hesitation in recommending it to practically everyone. There are miles of informally pisted skiing through the trees and some fabulous off-piste too.

experts
Advanced have fantastic off-piste and mogul runs on the high slopes above Fai as well as a brand new black run. There are long challenging runs across the whole mountain and good skiers won't get bored in a week. You can buy an extension to Madonna di Campiglio, Tonale and Folgarida by ski bus.

intermediate
Intermediates have plenty of excitement on the long reds and blues which are well worked out with no flat spots or unpleasant surprises.

beginners
Beginners have excellent nursery areas in the village and also at the mid station where the snow is always good.

après ski
There are plenty of bars and a disco amongst the other activities on offer.
