the hotel le rocher opened in december 2003 and within its first season became one of our best selling hotels. constructed using local wood and stone in a traditional style, the hotel is situated between the hotel petit tournalin and the hotel california in a clearing in the pine woods.
its 23 comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms all have en-suite bathroom, satellite tv, safe, mini bar and direct dial telephone. 4 of the rooms are larger and suitable for families or couples requiring a larger room....
room 107 - family room on a single level - accommodates up to 4 people. this room has no dvd player or jacuzzi bath
room 301 - suite on a single level - accommodates up to 5 people. jacuzzi bath. this room has no dvd player
room 302 - suite on a single level - accommodates up to 4 people. jacuzzi bath. this room has no dvd player
there are also 3 rooms with a mezzanine level, each which will accommodate 3 people. these don't have a jacuzzi bath or dvd player
there is an attractive reception area leading through to a lounge area with open fire and bar, adjoining a smaller tv lounge. breakfast and dinner are taken in the airy dining room decorated with paintings by local artists.
a hotel is only as good as its owners and charlotta (lotta) and guilio run le rocher as if it were their own home. they offer a very warm welcome and excellent traditional cuisine.
the basement of the hotel (accesible via an outside staircase) houses a jacuzzi, sauna, small gym and turkish bath for exclusive use of hotel guests.there are changing rooms in this area.
