The centre has a great atmosphere, as the lifts close, people pile into the many bars, some of which are very civilised. The village is quite large and its cable car is on the southern edge, it is handy to have accommodation close by as there is no bus to the lift and some hotels are a fair walk away. From 2006/2007 you will now be able to drive or catch a bus to anew gondola up from Dolonne. You can leaves skis, boards and boots in lockers up...
