Chalet Taureau is a new addition for the season 2011-12 and sure to be very popular, so early booking is recommended. The attractive open-plan living/dining area is decorated in lovely local furnishings creating an alpine feel and also offers a large balcony and wood burning stove. The nightlife, including the famous ‘Frog & Roastbeef’, is just a short walk away. Guests staying in this chalet apartment has access to the swimming pool and sauna in the neighbouring Altitude complex.

Chalet is accessed via a lift.

This chalet apartment is located in the Altitude Val 2400 Residence in the Balcons area of Val Thorens. It is ideal for those wanting quick access to the slopes – the complex is just 200 metres (approx) from the piste and the ski lifts are a 5 minute walk away. Alternatively, if your ski legs need a break, you can catch the ski bus from right outside the complex. The centre of Val Thorens is a 10 minute (approx) walk away and there are several pubs, restaurants and ski shops nearby. These chalet apartments are excellent value for a snow-sure resort of this calibre.

On your return from the slopes

A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits…..

In the evening

Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 6 out of 7 nights.

We also provide bath, hand towels and soap.

If you've still got room for lunch after our hearty breakfast, we can help you avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a packed lunch, freshly made that morning by your chalet host. Available in our European chalets and Ski Lodges for either 3 or 5 days, it includes a sandwich, piece of fruit, carton of juice, cereal bar and packet of crisps. Priced at £15 for 3 days and £25 for 5 days, who needs to worry about blowing the budget?
