Chalet Phoenix is situated in the newly built area of the Balcons Residence. This position offers excellent access to the skiing, just 200 metres (approx.) from the piste. The Plein Sud lift goes straight past the complex and competent skiers can enjoy the convenience of skiing practically to the door in good conditions. For beginners the shuttle bus stops right outside the reception area for access to the other lifts. The shops, and lively bars and restaurants of Val Thorens are just a short walk away. For guests’ convenience there are 2 restaurants, a bar offering snacks, a ski hire shop and a mini market within the complex.



This brand new addition to our programme this season, is one of excellence and luxury. Sat in a new part of the new development of the Balcons Residence, it offers a commanding position over the resort and from the 270 degree panoramic balcony you are treated to truly stunning views over the Val Thorens ski area. Finished to a high standard, there is nothing that has not been thought of and everything has been designed with the discerning skier in mind. Relax in the chalet’s private sauna, swim in the infinity pool (which is part of the complex), or just enjoy the large living space with a large glass of wine!



Guests staying in this chalet will also be able to use the residence’s gym facilities, plus there are beauty and well being treatments payable locally for you to enjoy. Food matters a lot to us and we take great care in planning and creating our delicious menus. They are designed to give you what your body needs for active days on the mountain.

A hearty breakfast

Begin your ski day with fresh bread, a choice of preserves, cereals, porridge, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee, PLUS a simple cooked option of eggs and one other hot item.

On your return from the slopes

A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits…..

In the evening

Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 6 out of 7 nights.

We also provide bath, hand towels and soap.

Packed Lunches

If you've still got room for lunch after our hearty breakfast, we can help you avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a packed lunch, freshly made that morning by your chalet host. Available in our European chalets and Ski Lodges for either 3 or 5 days, it includes a sandwich, piece of fruit, carton of juice, cereal bar and packet of crisps. Priced at £15 for 3 days and £25 for 5 days, who needs to worry about blowing the budget?

New for the 2011/2012 season, we have introduced our Wine Menu - a collection of carefully chosen mixed wine cases ranging from local specialities to the Connoisseurs collection.
