There are only a handful of detached chalets in Val Thorens, and this super property is certainly one of the very best. Divided into two chalets, run and catered separately, but sharing the bonus of the sauna on the ground floor, the Chalet Catherine could not be more central nor more stylish.

Skiing is literally to and from the door, as the chalet is located right on the side of the nursery slopes in the centre of the resort.

All the bedrooms have private en suite facilities and many also have balconies or terraces to soak up the sun, and enjoy the spectacular views.

The Catherine has a separate comfortable lounge area on the lower floor, ideal for afternoon tea and relaxing after dinner, while upstairs is the attractive dining-room with its open fire, picture windows and large terrace.

This chalet comes highly recommended for its en suite facilities, great views and especially for its unbeatably convenient location

Children in chalet... Please note that on non school holiday dates children under the age of 13 may not be permitted unless the group have taken booked the whole chalet. Please also note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge.
