We were absolutely delighted to add this beautiful, brand new, fully ensuite chalet to our programme in Val d’Isère in 2006-07. La Pierre de Compia has 4 fully ensuite twin rooms, extremely spacious lounge and dining areas and top quality fittings including an outdoor hot tub.



Situated in the smart ‘Le Cret’ area of Val d’Isère, La Pierre de Compia was a superb addition to our programme in December 2006. Its stunning contemporary décor and facilities made it a hit with our guests and it has become known as one of the most stylish chalets in the valley. In fact Harpers Bazaar have labelled this one of the ‘World’s Coolest Chalets’ - and they know smart when they see it! The chalet has four ensuite bedrooms and a huge lounge/dining area with magnificent all round views to be admired from the West facing balcony. The handsome stone fireplace completes the cosy communal area. To walk into town takes around nine minutes, however the free bus stops just two minutes away. There’s also a free WiFi connection and an outdoor hot tub on the large terrace it shares with neighbouring chalet La Bouclia.

As our regular guests will testify, our chalet hosts provide a tempting cooked breakfast and a mouthwatering three course meal six days a week, as well a delicious afternoon tea every day. Before dinner on Sunday you'll be welcomed with Champagne and canapés, and we also serve a cheeseboard one night, then a glass of kir with your canapés again on Saturday evening. Below you'll find an example of just a few of our most popular dishes.



We don't charge you a penny for being coeliac, vegetarian, or even a fussy eater! However it does make our chalet hosts' lives much easier if they have advance warning of your requirements, so please let us know about any allergies and intolerances when booking.
