La Grande Casse is a rare fully ensuite chalet for 10 in a great position in Val d'Isère. Attractively designed and solidly built, the chalet's lounge area is warm and cosy with a handsome stone fireplace. The dining area is light, thanks to the French windows which open out onto a large balcony looking West towards La Daille. All five twin bedrooms are spacious with fully ensuite facilities, including bath, shower and wc, and each room has a balcony. As with all of our six ‘Cacholet’ chalets, your holiday can be made even more relaxing by sinking into our large outdoor hot tub after skiing. Free WiFi access is also available in Chalet La Grand Casse. To catch the free bus into town, you can wait (but never for long!) at the bus stop two minutes’ away. If you would prefer to walk, it takes around eight minutes to reach the town centre.

As our regular guests will testify, our chalet hosts provide a tempting cooked breakfast and a mouthwatering three course meal six days a week, as well a delicious afternoon tea every day. Before dinner on Sunday you'll be welcomed with Champagne and canapés, and we also serve a cheeseboard one night, then a glass of kir with your canapés again on Saturday evening. Below you'll find an example of just a few of our most popular dishes.
We don't charge you a penny for being coeliac, vegetarian, or even a fussy eater! However it does make our chalet hosts' lives much easier if they have advance warning of your requirements, so please let us know about any allergies and intolerances when booking.
