The 2 Star L'Avancher B&B Hotel was created in 1958 by the present owners the Kassenberg Family. Constructed and decorated in a typical Alpine chalet style, l'Avancher hotel has been recently renovated to combine modern comfort with old world cham. Situated in a tranquil position at the edge of the main Val d'Isere Village, the l'Avancher Hotel is just 50 meters from the closest shuttle bus stop or just 5 minutes walk to the town centre. At the end of a hard days skiing one can ski back home to the door ready to enjoy a warm drink at the cosy "après-ski" bar.
There are 17 rooms, 1 apartment, 1 PRM room; we offer a buffet-style breakfast and an outside parking area.
Rooms
Our 17 charming rooms are decorated in the chalet style featuring local pinewood. All rooms are equipped with either showers or baths, WC, flat screen TV’s, telephone, WiFi and personal safes. From the single room situated below the timbered eves to the 35 sq metre family room, every guest will feel at home in this cosy Alpine atmosphere. All rooms are Non smoking, Pets welcome.
Rooms with wheelchair access
Persons of Reduced Mobility are welcome. A spacious, easily accessed room has been specially adapted for the disabled. A wide, comfortable bed, independent, large toilets and an Italian-style shower facility allow for easy movement. This room has been recently installed. This 35sq.m room is embellished with fragrant, brushed-wood surroundings with decorative carvings.
Apartment
Situated on the ground floor of a private chalet in the grounds of the hotel L’Avancher, this 40 sq metre apartment is ideal for families. One bedroom with double bed, 2 singles sofa beds in living area, fully equipped kitchen and shower room, WC separated. Hotel service available on request.
Leisure Area
Relax with a drink from the bar or a game of cards or Scrabble in our comfortable piano lounge. Up to date ski magazine and newspapers always available. |
