Aspen Lodge is a flagship property in the centre of Val d’Isère and represents a revolutionary new concept in catered ski holidays. Sliding glass doors from the high street open onto our hotel-style reception and comfortable lounge area with complimentary Internet access, via PC or WiFi, and a huge open fireplace. We have a reception desk for advice, information and concierge service.

The Aspen Lodge comprises 12 chalet-style suites sleeping 6, 8 or 10 in great comfort. Each suite is entirely independent, with its own living and dining areas and its own dedicated chalet host. The suites have either three (Sequoia, Sycamore, Cedar, Oak, Laurel & Larch), four (Redwood, Maple, Hawthorne, Juniper & Mulberry) or five (Birch) en suite bedrooms, and are designed and equipped to the very highest standards with widescreen, surround-sound DVD televisions and south-facing balconies.

The suites are very generously sized, and are furnished with tastefully understated style, from the invitingly large sofas to the funky designer bathrooms. In addition, the top floor suites (Juniper, Mulberry and Birch) all have open fires.

Aspen Lodge is situated in the centre of town just 250m from the piste.

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of hungry skier and healthy palate. The new and refined 2012 menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

If you are staying in one of our larger CLUB chalets then your chef will be offering canapés and a choice of menu every evening; a little more choice to pander the penchant of everyone in the party.

Our wines are selected by our Chalet Sommelier, Xavier Rousset. Chief Sommelier at the Hotel du Vin from 1999 to 2004 and Ruinart UK Sommelier of the Year in 2002, Xavier then became the youngest Master Sommelier in the world. After working as Head Sommelier at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Xavier opened his own restaurant, Texture, with Head Chef, Agnar Sverrisson in 2007. We are all privileged to enjoy Xavier’s advice and share in his passion.
