Chalethotel Hauts de Toviere is situated in Tignes Le Lavachet, and excellent location just a short ski from the Chaudanne & Paquis lifts and the centre of the village.  For beginner skiers, a short bus ride to Tignes Le Lac from right outside the front door takes you to Val Claret where you will meet your instructor.  The resort bus is free and runs between Val Claret, Le Lac and Le Lavachet giving easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and the wellness centre.

Families, couples, solo travellers and groups of friends are all welcomed at the Hauts de Toviere and we invite you to come and enjoy the charm and comfort of this spacious chalethotel.

There is plenty of space to relax in the lounge and bar area before dinner or alternatively enjoy an après-ski drink or two at Scotty's Bar, operated from the hotel at lower ground floor level. The large galleried dining room enjoys picture perfect views of the mountain from its floor to ceiling windows.

There is plenty going on outside of the chalethotel too with a   bowling alley, climbing wall, cinema, snow rafting and husky rides in the village

Bedrooms are located on the first and second floors and are a mix of small doubles, doubles, twins, family and mini apartments.  The rooms are light and airy and decorated in warm russet tones.  Bathrooms are modern and all are en-suite.

There is an outdoor swimming pool, which is open later in the season dependent on weather conditions.

There are a total of 31 rooms comprising of:

Small Double – 1 double bed.

Twin - 2 single beds, en-suite, some rooms take an extra bed or cot.

Triple - 3 single beds, en-suite bathroom.

Mini Apartment: One twin & one double, spacious bathroom with bath (shower attachment) and toilet. Balcony off main bedroom, south facing.

From the moment you arrive at the airport, our ski hosts are on hand to help.  They will accompany you on the transfer from the airport to resort, answering any ski questions you might have.  Thereafter, they'll guide you on the slopes finding the best snow conditions, the shortest lift queues and the best lunch stops - with a table reserved in advance.

Ski hosting is available 5 days of the week. There are three ski hosting groups for you to join, each split according to level of ability and speed.  You can join the group for leisurely, intermediate or advanced skiers for half of the day or the whole day, or switch groups whenever you wish.  It's up to you.

Ski hosting groups meet after breakfast at 9am and all groups stop for lunch at the same restaurant, giving you the chance to catch up with friends, family and fellow guests.  Choose to continue in the afternoon with the group or take time out to do your own thing.  At the end of the day our hosts will accompany you back to the hotel for a well deserved cup of tea.

Our hosts are advanced skiers and know the resort intimately, but they are not instructors or accredited mountain guides.

Tignes Le Lavachet nightlife is small but sociable.  If you are looking for more lively nightlife, then a free, short shuttle bus ride away to the centre of Tignes Le Lac will offer you more choice.

Starting in our own pub "Scotty's", which is at lower ground floor level to the side of the hotel.  Renowned for its friendly staff and good beer, you don't have to go far to find some great après ski atmosphere.

Lavachet Lounge - "The lounge" is a little haven away from the hustle and bustle of Tignes night-life. A cosy gem in the heart of Le Lavachet, it's your one-stop-shop (bar) for smoothies, cocktails and chat.  The perfect place to relax and while away a bad weather day (or a good one!).

Open till 4am ...

Jacks Club, Tignes Le Lac - Those who shudder at the thought of dancing round a pole to a bit of 70's disco, a bit of 80's cheese and a bit of 90's rock all mixed together, then this probably isn't your thing.... Everyone else, enjoy!

It's important to us that you enjoy every moment of your holiday - the skiing, the resorts, and - of course, the food and drink. We've taken great care to make sure that our dining rooms are atmospheric places where you can unwind and chat with friends. Meals are relaxed occasions at our chalethotels with plenty of delicious, healthy food, accompanied by good wines.



Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning until 10am. As well as a cooked breakfast, there is a buffet of juices, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, local breads and pastries, preserves and honey, along with tea, coffee, herbal teas and hot chocolate.

A selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate is available in the lounge throughout the day.

Afternoon tea

This is a sight you will come to love - a selection of cakes, biscuits, bread, jams and honey, to greet you on your return from the slopes. There's also soup, if you prefer, along with a choice of teas, coffee and plenty of hot chocolate.



Dinner

Six nights a week our chefs create a three course menu with a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. On two evenings, including the evening of arrival, they will prepare a buffet with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. For those with a sweet tooth there are some memorable desserts to enjoy, or, for those who prefer savouries, we serve cheese.



Wine

To accompany your meal you have a choice of wines; two whites and two reds. These table wines are complimentary and are available throughout dinner until coffee is served. We have a selection of other wines that can be purchased at extra cost.



Special diets

If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know before you travel and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you require specialised products, it may be advisable to bring these along with you.

Should you be marking a special occasion and need a celebratory cake, please speak to the chalethotel staff in good time, or order it through our After Sales department prior to your holiday.



Eating out

Once a week, our chefs and kitchen staff have an evening off. This is your opportunity to explore the local restaurants. Your chalethotel will have plenty of information on the local places to eat and will be happy to book a table and arrange transport for you. Please note this meal is at your own expense. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served as usual on this day.



Seating arrangements

Many of our guests enjoy the convivial dinner party ambience of a large shared table, whereas others prefer to dine in a family group or as a couple. It does depend on the size and layout of the dining area, but our staff will always do their best to accommodate your preferences. In chalethotels Tovière, Cygnaski, Moris and Christina, where our dining rooms are designed for the more traditional chalet-style skiing holiday, guests dine together in groups.



Bars

All our chalethotels have their own bars for the use of guests. Drinks bills are charged to your room and must be paid for at the end of your holiday by Visa, Mastercard or in local currency. Please note that licensing laws prohibit the drinking of duty-free or brought-in alcohol in our public rooms.
