It helps to not only dress warmly (multiple layers) and use clothing that "wicks away" moisture to keep you dry but also to have items that "warm up". These include packets that when exposed to air heat up and remain warm for hours. They are perfect for both feet and hands and work terrific. If your extremities are kept warm the rest of you can stay warm (opposite is true if you're overheated)and you're not so uncomfortable with fingers and toes hurting. Menu options:

Meal arrangements usually start with dinner on the day of arrival and finish with breakfast on the day of the departure. Chalet staff have one day off per week, so dinner and afternoon tea are provided 6 days per week. Breakfast is provided 7 days a week but on the hosts day off you will help yourself to this and clear the dishes afterwards. For those that arrive late to the chalet on Saturday night, you will receive dinner however it may be hot soup and a cold buffet. Dinner is usually served between 7.30pm and 8.30pm however feel free to discuss this with your chalet hosts.
