Chalet Chartreux is located in a pretty hamlet at 2100m altitude in Tignes Val Claret called 'Chartreux'. A Ski in (off piste) ski near (on piste) location.
It's a five minute walk from all of the great bars and restaurants, shops, cinema etc.
The chalet has a main lounge with log fire and great views of both Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Val Claret, satellite TV, new leather sofas with comfortable seating for each and every guest, plus a large flat screen TV.
There is also a heated conservatory containing easy chairs and a pool table plus iPod dock. Plus an entertainment mezzanine with sofas and bean bags, flat screen TV and Xbox 360.
This Tignes ski chalet location is second to none, with 360 degree views of this Olympic venue resort. Take one lift and you are skiing into Val D'Isere! The 'good ski and snowboarding guide' list the Espace Killy (Tignes & Val D'Isere) as one of only two areas in France which are 'snow-sure resorts'.
There is also a 24 hour free shuttle bus stop very close to the chalet so it gives easy access to all of the various lift stations, nightlife and different areas of Tignes (buses run every 10 minutes in the day and every half hour all night). Setting off from the chalet in the morning it's a 5 minute walk to the nearest flat rope tow to the main lifts or use the free regular buses.
