Accommodation records for resort:
’Picturesque, unspoilt and with endless skiing on tap, St Martin de Belleville is the perfect ski resort for those who want direct access into the amazing Three Valleys ski area but who want to stay in a beautiful mountain village.
St Martin de Belleville ski resort information

If you are looking for a great traditional mountain village but also want a big linked ski area St Martin de Belleville ticks all the boxes.

St Martin is one the villages within the massive 3 valleys ski area. St Martin is located 900m below Val Thorens which is Europe highest mountain village, with lift access to both Les Menuires and Meribel. The village itself is located at 1400m and investments in snow making means that even when the full force of the sun is shining in the afternoon the resort runs stay in good condition.

The centre of the village is set around an attractive 16th century church that is lit at night, the village is small, you can walk it all in under 10 minutes but includes all the basic shops needed for a skiing holiday.

The main lift in the village can be a bit of a walk if you are staying below the village but we do offer several catered ski chalets that are much nearer. We offer many excellent independent chalets here, a few smart apartments and a handful of hotels to suit all budgets.

Après ski in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville

A few bars and cocktail lounges are about it, the cosy Pourquoi Pas is popular and is a favourite when the lifts close.

Activities off the slopes in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville

Non skiers can reach Meribel via the lifts. Apart from a sports hall, a small museum and some dog sledding and walking there’s little to do for non skiers – take a good book!

Beginners skiing in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville

For beginners there is a special pass that includes the two lifts above the village. The nursery slopes in the village are limited but once the basics are mastered the whole of the 3 valleys offers unlimited fun.

Intermediates skiing in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville

For intermediate skiers and snow boarders the Blues and Reds above the village make it an ideal choice and beyond that you have your choice of 650 km of pistes making St Martin De Belleville a perfect choice.

Advanced skiing in the ski resort of St Martin de Belleville

For many advanced skiers it’s the appeal of the full area that will make them head straight out of the valley either up to Val Thorens or across and down towards Meribel and beyond to Courchevel. However, St Martin de Bellville has a secret in that it offers some wonderful off piste skiing through the trees and even when the snow is good it’s very quiet.
