Les Arcs 2000 ski resort information
Arc 2000 is the highest of all the villages in this ski area (Les Arcs side) located at 2000 m it offers a good selection of apartment styled catered ski chalets most offering ski in ski out or with skiing very close to the slopes and lifts. We also offer a few apartments and a limited number of ski hotels including the very popular Club Med all Inclusive hotel which receives praise from Ski Line clients.
Skiing in Les Arcs ski area offers a huge variety of slopes from the top ski area at 3225m to the lower runs at 1200m. Many of the runs are long and are tree lined which are ideal if the weather closes in.

Les Arcs and La Plagne ski area are now linked into one larger ski area called the Paradiski which together offer 425 km of perfectly groomed pistes, 200 km of which are on the Les Arcs side. The Vanoise express connects the two ski areas between Peisey Vallandry on the Les Arcs side and Montchavin & Les Coches on the La Plagne side.

The night life is more relaxed in Arcs 2000 than in other Les Arcs villages with two popular bars, the Whistlers dream is one, located in the Chalet des Neige building and the Rilax bar, both have happy hours and get crowded later on.
Activities off the slopes in the ski resort of Les Arcs 2000
Serveral of the chalets we offer share use of a pool but in the wider resort there is an ice rink and it’s possible to have snowmobiling rides when the lifts close.
Beginners skiing in the ski resort of Les Arcs 2000
Les Arcs 2000 has excellent nursery slopes and although Les Arcs does not use the green run classification that other resorts will but the many of the blues make ideal transition runs from the beginners slopes It’s possible to ski on long runs without the need to ski reds or blacks. Arcs 2000 being located away from the link to La Plagne is often a quieter area so ideal for nervous beginners.
Intermediates skiing in the ski resort of Les Arcs 2000
The whole area is ideal for intermediate skiers, 83% of the runs are blue or red in Les Arcs and La Plagne. Nearly all lifts have an easy way down and is one of the reasons that intermediate skiers and snowboarders head for Les Arcs and La Plagne.
Advanced skiing in the ski resort of Les Arcs 2000
Les Arcs has some great genuine Black runs particularly so from the higher lifts; The Aiguille Rouge cable car connects to one such run. But the off piste skiing hear is very good too and unlike in Chamonix which is renowned for its off piste but after good snow fall gets tracked very quickly, in les Arcs the off piste snow can last for weeks.
