Accommodation records for resort:
Olympic slopes for a smashing price! Chamrousse is home to Ski Lines cheapest ski holiday. With Easyjet and British airways both servicing Grenoble airport, which is just 40km away from the resort ! Give us a call and see how cheaply you can go skiing this season

Home to the 1968 Olympic Men and Women's downhills, Chamrousse is a resort that is just waiting to pop back into the limelight.  A firm favourite with all the locals from Grenoble, just 30 minutes away, this is a resort with an illustrious history and a bright future.  Just the right size so you don't get lost, but big enough to keep the most demanding intermediate happy for the week, the resort offers a range of activities and events throughout the season to make this a great overall holiday experience.

The skiing
The westward exposure of the town guarantees not only excellent snow but also a lot of sun in the afternoon and evening. A special attraction is the sunset over the French lowlands. In Chamrousse you may still enjoy the evening sun whereas it already darkens in the lowlands. Not for nothing the signification of Chamrousse is 'red snow fields'.
The village offers all amenities belonging to a modern wintersports resort as cosy cafés, pubs, restaurants, discotheques and of course several shops inviting to stroll through.

Advanced
Above Chamrousse 1650 the olympic area is waiting for ambitious skiers. From the top of the Croix de Chamrousse you have a choice of 3 black runs to test your stamina, the Olympique H and Casserousse gives you a great challenge and takes you past the new Snowpark.

Intermediate
For less accomplished skiers, or more sensible ones, there is a great network of greens and blues, which bring you down to Roche Beranger and Le Recoin.

Beginners
Chamrousse offers perfect conveniences for beginners and a great choice of simple descents inviting and some fine deep powder snow possibilities. The two sections of the area are perfectly linked.

Snowboarding
The resort is big on excitement and has 3 snowparks, 1 natural between the Olympique H and Olympique D, one dedicated to kids at the top of the Croix de Chamrousse and another under the Marmottes Chairlift. Due to its numerous funparks Chamrousse is reknown as 'Espace Freestyle'.

Apres ski
On 2 towns really... Roche Beranger more suitable for families and Le Recoin for those wanting a slightly livelier time.  Both have a good array of bars and restaurants, but this isn't Val d'Isere so real party animals will need to get their fix with a night trip to Grenoble, otherwise there is a choice of over 20 establishments in which to eat and drink and be merry at a lot less than you'll pay in Val d'Isere.
