Just the right size so you don't get lost, but big enough to keep the most demanding intermediate happy for the week, the resort offers a range of activities and events throughout the season to make this a great overall holiday experience.
Intermediate For less accomplished skiers, or more sensible ones, there is a great network of greens and blues, which bring you down to Roche Beranger and Le Recoin.
BeginnersChamrousse offers perfect conveniences for beginners and a great choice of simple descents inviting and some fine deep powder snow possibilities. The two sections of the area are perfectly linked.
SnowboardingThe resort is big on excitement and has 3 snowparks, 1 natural between the Olympique H and Olympique D, one dedicated to kids at the top of the Croix de Chamrousse and another under the Marmottes Chairlift. Due to its numerous funparks Chamrousse is reknown as 'Espace Freestyle'.
Apres skiOn 2 towns really... Roche Beranger more suitable for families and Le Recoin for those wanting a slightly livelier time. Both have a good array of bars and restaurants, but this isn't Val d'Isere so real party animals will need to get their fix with a night trip to Grenoble, otherwise there is a choice of over 20 establishments in which to eat and drink and be merry at a lot less than you'll pay in Val d'Isere.
