The Rhodos Hotel, updated for the 2011/2012 winter season, is situated in central Morzine and offers great accommodation, with a choice of 16 bedrooms: doubles, twins, triples and a five person room, all with ensuite. It is excellently located just off the main square by the Mairie (town hall) and the free shuttle bus stop is right outside the front door, with buses to Avoriaz, Ardent and the Pleney, giving you brilliant access to all the pistes. It is also close to restaurants, bars, shops and local amenities and what’s more, it has a lively bar and a great restaurant. When the sun is shining you can enjoy the south facing terrace and take in the stunning views over the town square and across the valley to the mountains.
The Bedrooms
There are 16 modern en-suite bedrooms in the Rhodos, with comfortable beds, high quality duvets and our crisp and fresh white linen. There are doubles, twins and triples available and for those that require an even better price we have a five-bedded super budget room. There are plenty of fluffy towels and they are changed mid-week.
All but 4 of our rooms have balconies and all have stunning views over the river or of the surrounding mountains. You can fling open the curtains, step out onto your balcony and just drink in the Alpine atmosphere.
The bedrooms in The Rhodos do not have TVs, telephones, tea making facilities or offer room service (although we do have bar and restaurant downstairs!).
All bedrooms are non-smoking.
The Rhodos Bar
The Rhodos bar is a lively, popular place. As well as guests the locals come in for a drink so there is a great bustling atmosphere. We have refurbished the bar with modern leather seating, making it more spacious and comfortable and have also introduced a new wine list and a selection of cocktails.
The bar has FREE WIFI internet access also a PMU license, the French state-owned bookmakers. So if you fancy a flutter, you can get all the forecasts and information you need. The Rhodos Bar also shows live sports on our 4 Plasma screens. Live music is also featured on selected nights.
There is a lovely south facing terrace so during the warmer months you can enjoy a beer whilst looking up at the surrounding mountains. |
