Chamois D'Or is in a prime location just seconds away from the Nyon cable car and ski slopes. The chalet has an outside hot tub perfect for easing those aching muscles after a long hard days skiing. The chalet sleeps between 12 to 14 in 6 en-suite bedrooms, there is an additional bunk bedroom with an en-suite shower which can be used as a family room with bedroom 2, each bedroom also has a south facing balcony and stunning views. Each bedroom has a theme from countries/cities around the world and so have been named accordingly!

The ground floor comprises of a ski store with heated ski boot racks, double bedroom with en-suite shower and a twin room with en-suite shower. The first floor has 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, one of the doubles also has a separate room with bunk beds and a shower so is ideal for families. All of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities some with baths and some showers. The second floor houses a comfortable lounge with a central fire place and patio doors open onto a large balcony and there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

We can offer a free transfer service for all early bookers* and Morzine is a 15 minute stroll along the river bank or a couple of minutes by taxi

*Free Transfer notes:

Due to the size of the minibus transfers for up to 8 people can be arranged in one go but for any larger groups we reserve the right to collect them later to give time for the minibus to make the return journey this can be up to 3 hours depending upon traffic.

We believe the quality of cooking to be just as important as the skiing experience and so unlike many of our competitors our budget for food and wine for each guest is very generous. We ensure that you will receive fresh quality food of the highest standard.

Every day you will start with a hearty breakfast with a choice of cereals, French bread, croissants, jams, porridge, fruit juices etc., together with fresh tea and coffee. Our staff will also provide a cooked option for our premium chalet guests. Please note that on one day breakfast will be self-service due to the chalet hosts day off.

In the afternoon when you return from the slopes you will be greeted by freshly baked cakes and fresh tea, coffee and hot chocolate (six days of the week)

There is a fresh fruit bowl in our premium chalets for guests to help themselves to.

Before dinner there are pre-dinner drinks together with canapés. Dinner on five nights is a delicious 3 course meal which has been specially created for our premium chalets by your hosts and the management team, please see the sample menu. On the last night there will be a four course meal which includes a local cheese board and port. There is a selection of red and white bottled wines that are served from when the meal commences to when it ends. The evening is finished off with coffee and chocolates.

Children's Meals

We understand that young children will not always want to wait until later for dinner with adults and indeed they won't always want to eat the same type of food! Thus we offer a high tea for children, if required, at approximately 6pm and like all of our adult meals they will be freshly prepared, of excellent quality and served with juices and cordials. Our hosts will contact you before your holiday to discuss the meal plan for your children.

Chalet Hosts Nights Off

One day a week the chalet hosts have a much deserved rest. Breakfast is self-service. The evening is a chance to sample the Savoyard cuisine and our chalet hosts will be pleased to recommend and book a restaurant for you. Please note that due to insurance reasons and French law you are unable to use our kitchen facilities with the exception of the microwave and kettle.
