Refuge Boua is the ‘sell-out’ oddball in our Meribel portfolio and favourite of the hardcore Meribel ski cognoscenti. This is a true skiers chalet; fairly basic in design and furnishing, but literally on the piste and next to the lifts at Chaudanne, the main hub of Meribel’s huge ski area and ski school meeting point. The simple but bright and comfortable living space leads to a small terrace with a secluded hot tub. The five minimalist bedrooms overlook the piste and have crisp white walls, cosy wood panelling and smart contemporary en suite shower rooms. There are not many chalets on the slopes in Meribel, even fewer that are only a short stroll across the piste to the centre of town.

A completely unique position on the piste and next to the Chaudanne lifts. Just 150m across the nursery slopes to the village centre.

Our wines are selected by our Chalet Sommelier, Xavier Rousset. Chief Sommelier at the Hotel du Vin from 1999 to 2004 and Ruinart UK Sommelier of the Year in 2002, Xavier then became the youngest Master Sommelier in the world. After working as Head Sommelier at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Xavier opened his own restaurant, Texture, with Head Chef, Agnar Sverrisson in 2007. We are all privileged to enjoy Xavier’s advice and share in his passion.
