We are delighted to offer families this lovely, high quality Chalet Hotel in such a prime location in this ever popular, prestige resort. The Alba has been a well known hotel in its own right for many years and many Méribel aficionados will already be familiar with its location, style and ambience. Offering comfort and convenience, now combined with our established Chalet Hotel services, the Alba is sure to be a hugely popular choice for families.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
The Alba is ideally situated just above the main hub of the resort, yet right on the edge of the slopes at Méribel’s "Rond Point", a familiar landmark in the Three Valleys. Everything is geared towards making life as easy as possible for our guests, with the main piste just across the street, a ski-bridge to bring you back to your ski-room door, and equipment hire from the shop immediately beneath the Alba, so collection, return and any mid-week changes are easily arranged.
There are also several restaurants and après ski cafes close by and the bus to and from the village centre runs until 11.45pm.
SKI AREA ACCESS
The Alba really is the perfect choice for families who want to hit the slopes with the minimum of fuss and in the shortest possible time! The magic-carpet nursery area for our Spritelets is just 50m away. The "Doron" blue run outside the Alba takes skiers straight down to the resort centre and main lifts, opening up access from there to the whole of the Three Valleys. Alternatively you can take the Adret chairlift from just below the Rond Point and start your skiing day from there.
At the end of your day, returning to the Alba on skis couldn’t be easier, either from the Saulire side of the Three Valleys down the Marmotte and Doron slopes, or, if you end up in the resort centre, the Rhodos 1 gondola will bring you straight back "home" to the Rond Point.
COMFORTABLE HOTEL FACILITIES
The Alba has thoroughly charming communal rooms, with the lounge and bar attractively furnished with rich fabrics, comfy seating and a feature fireplace to warmly welcome skiers home after a long ski day. This also provides the perfect ambience for enjoying evening apéritifs and canapés.
The spacious dining-room has picture windows overlooking the large sun-terrace, which in turn looks out over the Doron slopes, the Rond Point and across the scenic Méribel valley.
The Alba also has its own adults-only wellness area on the lower ground floor, with a sauna, steam-room and whirlpool spa-bath affording parents a relaxing haven in which to unwind and relax after the days exertions.
Our staff provide a hot and cold buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and our "Culinary Choices" evening menu, whilst our Baby-Listening/Child-Patrol Service, running till 11pm, allows parents to relax in good company over coffee and liqueurs after dining. Children’s high tea is served at 5.30pm and supervised by our staff till 6pm.
We are pleased to be able to offer a complete range of room-styles here to suit most families, from a couple with a baby to sets of rooms for larger families, sleeping up to six.

Breakfast A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Afternoon Tea The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake. Children’s High Tea Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. Adult Dinner Our four-course chalet dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of wines, and followed by coffee with mints or chocolates. This operator is happy to cater for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements – please advise us at the time of booking, and on your Booking Form. Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge. Great child care on offer with small ski classes for children.
