set amongst a few other similar luxury chalets, chalet du pontet is in a quiet location (on the road towards morzine), about 5 minutes walk from both the resort centre and the mont-chery ski lift. it is possible to ski back to the rear of the chalet, snow permitting. the village mini-train that runs between the chavannes and mont-chéry lifts stops close to the chalet, giving access to the village centre very easily during the day.
chalet du pontet is a brand new 130m2 comfortable chalet built to a high specification and designed with style in wood cladding and natural stone.
the interior is bright and airy, well furnished and immaculately presented with beamed ceilings and tile floors throughout. furnishings are all brand new, mostly wood, functional and stylish.
on the ground floor, the lounge/dining area has a natural stone fireplace creating an inviting ambience in which to relax and offers a large southeast facing private balcony. it has a tv, dvd player and a cd hifi. the british owners have left a supply of toys, books, games and dvds (all in english).
on the same floor, there are 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower room/wc, one with ensuite bathroom/wc). upstairs, there are a further 3 double bedrooms (1 with ensuite bathroom/wc) with access to their own-shared large private balcony. on the upper floor, there is also a further bathroom/wc.
all the bedrooms have 2 single beds that can be made into proper double beds.
the fully equipped kitchen has a full sized oven, 4 ceramic hobs, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and all modern equipment.british-owned, the chalet has all the little things that you would expect at home: kettle, mugs, teapot, coffee-machine…
in the basement there is an extra wc with washbasin, a garage with a washing-machine and drier, a sauna and a drying/storage room. there is a mobile ski rack in the garage with space for boots and clothes in the drying room, beside the sauna.
there is further parking, outside to the front of the property.
for your comfort, there is underfloor heating on the first floor, and there are electric heaters in all rooms, as well as the fireplace. |
