chalet alouette, like its twin next door chalet martinet, was brand new for season 2005. the chalet sleeps up to 10 in 4 bedrooms. the chalet can be booked by one party of 8-10 or several couples or smaller parties. for large groups of 16-20 the 2 chalets can be booked.
the exterior of the chalet has been clad in old style timber and stone, the covering of snow on the roof and garden adds to the picture book exterior.
inside the chalet is bright and airy; all rooms are en-suite. the open plan dining/sitting room is an exceptionally spacious room with the kitchen and dining area at one end and then lots of comfy sofas surrounding the open log fire at the other end. tv and dvd are provided for the kids. floor to ceiling french doors lead out onto the large wooden terrace which overlooks the pistes of les perrieres and la turche, which are floodlit at night.
we have installed a hot tub in the garden shared between the 2 chalets. ease those aching muscles in the sauna and hot tub and for the brave invigorate yourself with a roll in the snow!
the chalets have an excellent location, situated only 300m from the new high speed perrieres chairlift. you can ski to within a few minutes walk from the chalet. the main bars, restaurants and shops are a comfortable 10 minute walk away.
to make life easy we offer a complimentary mini-bus service to the nursery slopes in the mornings for those beginners and children who can't use the lift next to the chalets. we also offer families and beginners an early evening pick up or alternatively guests may find returning by the free ski bus is more convenient, as you can leave your skis and boots in our partner hire shop at the foot of the nursery slopes, soak up the apres ski, and choose a ski-bus time to suit you. the service runs every half hour till 8pm and stops just 30 meters from the chalets.
features:
- all rooms en suite
- open log fire
- 300m from high speed chairlift
- 10 minute walk to centre
- morning drop offs & afternoon pick ups at nursery slopes for beginners/children
- outdoor hot tub & sauna

Food is a very important part of your ski chalet holiday and we take a great deal of pride and pleasure in serving you a great selection of culinary delights. Breakfast, usually served between 8am and 9.30am, consists of a daily cooked special (bacon & eggs, pancakes, scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict etc), complemented by a buffet spread, including fruit juice, a selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, croissants and freshly baked bread. Afternoon tea will be laid out for you to help yourselves on your return from the ski slopes. Freshly baked cake, bread and jam, tea and coffee or if you prefer a beer or soft drink from the honesty bar, will provide a welcome stop gap before dinner. Dinner will be served at about 8pm. We serve three courses every night, accompanied by our good quality house wines. Dinner is followed by a local cheese board and tea or coffee in the sitting room by the fire. We also cater for vegetarians and vegans and will do our best to cater for guests with special dietary requirements such as allergies (please do let us know at time of booking). Children's Meals. After a long day skiing, kids often can't wait until 8pm to eat and you may want to enjoy your dinner, children-free, so we are happy to offer children's meals at an earlier time, usually served about 6pm.
