We are extremely proud and pleased to offer guests superb chalet accommodation on one of the most exciting recent developments in the Alps in many years. "Les Chalets des Deux Domaines" constitute an exclusive enclave of six detached chalets, just a short walk from the "Vanoise Express" cable-car, at the perfect mid-point of the massive Paradiski area.

Chalet Castors’ layout has been carefully planned with family guests in mind. All the rooms enjoy superb views out across the valley, and on the terrace of each lower floor, accessed via the sauna room, is a luxurious, bubbling hot-tub spa to soothe those skiing muscles, so don’t forget your swimming costumes!

The Castor is built on a slope, connected by terraced paths and steps. Backpacks are recommended in preference to pushchairs for our nursery in the Hermine, although we have limited storage space for pushchairs in the ski-locker room, which is at street level.

Chalets Renard and Ourson are used for Nursery and Snow Club lunches with the children eating there between midday and 2pm. On busy weeks other chalets may be used.

Children in chalet... Please note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Chalet Meals For six days of the week chalet staff, some of whom may live in the chalet, prepare all your meals. On their day off, they will leave out a simple breakfast for you, and that evening you and your family have a chance to eat out in one of the local cafés or restaurants. Most of our guests feel that children under 13 years can inhibit the dinner-party atmosphere at evening meals, especially if they are over-tired, so our youngsters are served high tea at about 5.30pm. We do not allow anyone under 13 at the adult evening meals in chalets, except in our ‘Family Dining’ chalets.

Breakfast A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Afternoon Tea The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake. Children’s High Tea Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. Adult Dinner Our four-course chalet dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of wines, and followed by coffee with mints or chocolates. This operator is happy to cater for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements – please advise us at the time of booking, and on your Booking Form. Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge. Great child care on offer with small ski classes for children.
