Both these Residences have been built in an attractive traditional style with skiers' complete convenience and comfort in mind. A short button-lift close to des Neiges gives skiers direct access onto the pistes and wider lift system, and at the end of the day, you can ski back virtually to the door of des Neiges, and within just a short 1-minute walk from the Altitude.

Both Residences offer our guests their own indoor swimming-pool, shared sauna, ski lockers, ski-room, underground parking and lifts to the chalet apartments, and the Altitude has a convenient bar to quench your après-ski thirst!

Our chalet apartments themselves are all run separately by their own dedicated Chalet Host, and are comfortably fitted and furnished, with open-plan living/dining areas, all with a crackling log fire to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a balcony, and the Altitude chalets also have a TV. All children receive full child discounts, even when in their own bedroom, not sharing with their parents.

Our Nursery rooms are in the des Neiges Residence, whilst our Snow Club and Cocoa Club are based in the Chalet de L'Ours, adjacent to the Altitude (see our photo on page 80 for the convenient location of all facilities).

Children in our child care programme will use Chalets McKinley and Olympus at lunchtime.

Children in chalet... Please note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Breakfast A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Afternoon Tea The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake. Children’s High Tea Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. Adult Dinner Our four-course chalet dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of wines, and followed by coffee with mints or chocolates. This operator is happy to cater for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements – please advise us at the time of booking, and on your Booking Form. Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge. Great child care on offer with small ski classes for children.
