Chalet is located in Les Eucherts.

The stunning Penthouse chalet is located in the Les Eucherts area of La Rosière at a height of 1850m. It’s in the perfect location being in a very quiet area with uninterrupted views over the valley but only 200m away from the main chairlift so there is no driving or minibus transfers required. The main village of La Rosière itself is only a 15 minute walk away (but you can also take the free bus there) but once you enter the Penthouse with the exception of skiing you really won’t want to leave it! The chalet is also only 150m away from the brand new ice skating rink and bowling alley.

The Penthouse extends over 2 floors and from the massive top floor dining room/lounge you have stunning views down the valley. There are six completely en-suite bedrooms, all having baths and overhead showers, together with toilets/sinks and hairdryers are also provided. Three of the bedrooms are doubles (with one being a family room with a separate area under the eaves for children under 12) and there are three twin bedrooms.

On the top floor there is a massive lounge/dining area complete with beamed ceiling; the kitchen area; floor to ceiling picture windows; a very large dining table seating up to 16 people which overlooks the valley below and the open fireplace is surrounded by comfortable sofas. There are two bedrooms one of which is a family room sleeping two adults with two additional beds for younger children and one which is a twin bedroom.

Downstairs we have 4 en-suite rooms – two doubles and two twin bedrooms. One of the doubles has a private balcony with stunning views down into the valley and one of the twins also overlook the valley below. The other double and twin have views up to the piste. On the balcony you will find our inviting hot tub which you are free to use during the evening.

For those of you that cannot escape from work there is WiFi connection and there is a large television for watching your DVD’s on or watch Sky TV if you really choose to.

Your chalet hosts have been carefully chosen for their welcoming and friendly personalities, their experience in catering for groups and their passion for great food together with their dedication and professionalism. The hosts live in the chalet in a relatively self-contained area and will dine with you.

Please note to ensure your comfort the whole chalet is non smoking and is shoe free so we suggest you bring your slippers. On our changeover day we ask you to arrive at 4pm on the changeover day and to depart at 10am on the day of departure, this is to allow a smooth transition and consideration to other guests.

We believe the quality of cooking to be just as important as the skiing experience and so unlike many of our competitors our budget for food and wine for each guest is very generous. We ensure that you will receive fresh quality food of the highest standard.

Every day you will start with a hearty breakfast with a choice of cereals, French bread, croissants, jams, porridge, fruit juices etc., together with fresh tea and coffee. Our staff will also provide a cooked option for our premium chalet guests. Please note that on one day breakfast will be self-service due to the chalet hosts day off.

In the afternoon when you return from the slopes you will be greeted by freshly baked cakes and fresh tea, coffee and hot chocolate (six days of the week)

There is a fresh fruit bowl in our premium chalets for guests to help themselves to.

Before dinner there are pre-dinner drinks together with canapés. Dinner on five nights is a delicious 3 course meal which has been specially created for our premium chalets by your hosts and the management team, please see the sample menu. On the last night there will be a four course meal which includes a local cheese board and port. There is a selection of red and white bottled wines that are served from when the meal commences to when it ends. The evening is finished off with coffee and chocolates.

Children's Meals

We understand that young children will not always want to wait until later for dinner with adults and indeed they won't always want to eat the same type of food! Thus we offer a high tea for children, if required, at approximately 6pm and like all of our adult meals they will be freshly prepared, of excellent quality and served with juices and cordials. Our hosts will contact you before your holiday to discuss the meal plan for your children.

Chalet Hosts Nights Off

One day a week the chalet hosts have a much deserved rest. Breakfast is self-service. The evening is a chance to sample the Savoyard cuisine and our chalet hosts will be pleased to recommend and book a restaurant for you. Please note that due to insurance reasons and French law you are unable to use our kitchen facilities with the exception of the microwave and kettle.
