Chalet Cristal de Roche is a chalet apartment that successfully combines character with convenience and the most outstanding views.
Only a few moments walk from the centre of the bustling village, Cristal de Roche boasts the best views of any property or hotel in Courchevel 1850. It looks over the village and on to the valley of Bozel and Pralognan opposite. The chalet is almost ski in/ski out - across the road is a blue piste giving access to the Plantrey chairlift and the main lift station is only 200 metres down the road.
This beautiful penthouse apartment is on the second and third floors and boasts an open plan sitting and dining room with a double height, vaulted ceiling giving a real feeling of space. There is a huge fireplace with a crackling log fire and a large balcony from where you can admire the breathtaking view by day or night.
Above the sitting room is a galleried mezzanine and games area giving some space for children to play or watch TV in peace. The wood panelling throughout lends an authentic and homely chalet style and a warm ambience for a luxury skiing holiday.
The bedrooms are relatively small, but each has it's own en-suite bath or shower room (most have been refurbished this year). The two bedrooms on the upper floor, including the master are situated in the eaves. The two bedrooms downstairs have their own bathrooms and share a WC.
On the ground floor is a private ski room with boot-warmers.
Cristal de Roche may not offer the levels of luxury afforded by freestanding chalets, but, in our opinion, its great location and Alpine character more than make up for this and once our Original service is added, this is a great place for a holiday with family or friends.
Chalet Cristal de Roche has four en-suite bedrooms. Bedrooms and bathrooms are small but full of atmosphere. All are wood panelled, two are under the eaves and three have fitted double beds, lending a genuinely cosy chalet feel to the property.
Room 1 - Double/Twin
Room 1 can be set up as a double or a twin room and has a small bathroom. WC is across the landing and is shared.
Room 2 - Double
This double room has an en-suite bathroom. The small fitted double bed (190cm x 140cm) is beautifully decorated and there is space for a cot. The WC is shared.
Room 3 - Double
The master double bedroom is situated under the eaves and is full of character with a partially fitted bed. It has an en-suite bathroom (shower and bath) and WC. Suitable for a cot.
Room 4 - Double
A double room under the eaves with a fitted bed and an en suite shower room.
Childcare
This Operator pioneered skiing holidays with childcare and this is an optional extra that many families consider indispensable. We offer childcare from 4 months and ensure that children have the most fantastic holidays and that parents can completely relax with peace of mind that their family is in great hands. Your children can be taken to and collected from ski lessons and will be kept entertained with a varied and imaginative activity programme and given healthy home made lunches and snacks.
Our childcare staff are qualified professionals and guests can opt to have a private nanny service. Babysitting is available too. A wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers can be provided to all guests on request, mostly free of charge.
Private Nanny
Qualified (CACHE trained or similar) nannies who are recruited for their mature but fun approach to childcare. The operator offers pre-season training, which includes a comprehensive first aid course. Nannies provide a structured day including food, entertainment and transport to and from lessons.
Baby Sitting
Baby sitting is available in the evenings on a request basis and is chargeable per hour.
