Darkoum is a four storey, freestanding chalet containing three comfortable apartments (Darkoum A, B and C) with a high ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms. For skiing, Darkoum is well positioned just across the road from the gentle Bellecote piste, making it almost ski-in ski-out and perfect for families.
Darkoum B is perfectly suited to families but would also be good for three couples. Spread over a single floor, the living area is generous and the second double room allows you to invite grandparents or aunts and uncles while the fourth, single room allows flexibility for children to have their own rooms. The spacious open plan living and dining area with log fireplace has dramatic views down the mountain. Outside is a large balcony, ideal for soaking up the views in the warmer months.
We recommend Darkoum B for six people but it can accommodate seven. For larger groups, two or three of the Darkoum apartments can be taken together to accommodate up to 23 guests.
Darkoum B has one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom as well as two twin/doubles which share a family bathroom. There is a further small single room features with a washbasin.

Room 2
Double/Twin. A small twin room with shared bathroom with bath, shower over bath with screen and WC.
Room 3
Double/Twin. The largest bedroom can be set up as a double or a twin. Shared bathroom with bath, shower over bath with screen and WC. Can accommodate a cot.
Room 4
Single bedroom with basin. Shared bathroom with bath, shower over bath with screen and WC. No electrical sockets.
Childcare
This Operator pioneered skiing holidays with childcare and this is an optional extra that many families consider indispensable. We offer childcare from 4 months and ensure that children have the most fantastic holidays and that parents can completely relax with peace of mind that their family is in great hands. Your children can be taken to and collected from ski lessons and will be kept entertained with a varied and imaginative activity programme and given healthy home made lunches and snacks.
Our childcare staff are qualified professionals and guests can opt to have a private nanny service. Babysitting is available too. A wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers can be provided to all guests on request, mostly free of charge.
Private Nanny
Qualified (CACHE trained or similar) nannies who are recruited for their mature but fun approach to childcare. The operator offers pre-season training, which includes a comprehensive first aid course. Nannies provide a structured day including food, entertainment and transport to and from lessons.
Baby sitting
Baby sitting is available in the evenings on a request basis and is chargeable per hour.
