Chalet La Sonnaille offers family ski holidays at their best. Built to our own specification, La Sonnaille is the most luxurious chalet in Chatel. Overlooking the Lac de Vonnes, with beautiful uninhibited mountain views, the chalet has been built with space and comfort very much in mind. The chalet has 5 large family bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 families. We also have a Jacuzzi and Nordic sauna for your comfort and relaxation after a long day on the slopes.



The Dining Room - probably the most important room in the chalet.



The Lounge - enjoy the views, enjoy a drink, enjoy a doze before dinner.



The Play Room - Packed with all the toys, books and arts and crafts a child could ever wish for, the playroom is rarely an oasis of peace and calm.



Bedrooms

Le Lac - interconnecting family suite that sleeps 2 adults (queen size bed 160cm) and 2 children in connecting twin. Ensuite bathroom with free standing shower.



Les Myrtilles - sleeps 2 adults in king bed (180cm) with ensuite shower room. It is also possible to add a child bed and/or cot.



Les Vaches - a split level room with mezzanine. Sleeps 2 adults in large double bed (160cm) and has ensuite bathroom with bath and shower unit. On the mezzanine level there is one set of bunk beds and a single bed.



Les Montagnes - sleeps 2 adults in a king bed (180cm) and has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower unit. It is possible to add a further 2 child beds/and or cot.



Les Chamois - a split level room with mezzanine. Sleeps 2 adults in large double bed (180cm) and has ensuite bathroom with bath and shower unit. On the mezzanine there are a further 3 single beds.

We dine as intensively as we ski and so pick our chefs carefully which means we can take pride in their ability to cook to high standard and the ease with which they can accommodate any special requirement of our guests during their stay. We use local, fresh ingredients to prepare a culinary delight for you each evening you dine with us.



Your day will begin with a cooked breakfast, we guide you to one of the many excellent mountain-top restaurants for lunch, afternoon tea is served in the lounge upon your return and we do dinner in style with four courses, accompanied by our personally selected house wines and if your tastes prefer, we have a well-stocked wine cellar.
