Chalet Sleeps 10/12 Bedrooms: 4 + Mezzanines

Situated in the pretty Chamonix Valley, with superb views towards the surrounding majestic peaks, Chalet La Tanière is set in a quiet location amidst the forest, amongst similar stylish chalets, 2 km from Les Houches and 5km from Chamonix. There is a convenient mini-market about 1km away; a car is essential.

La Tanière is an imposing chalet built to a very high specification with extensive use of wood. The interior is bright and spacious with an emphasis on natural light. The owner of the chalet actually owns a home furnishing boutique in Chamonix, so the chalet is very well appointed and decorated throughout.

The chalet is arranged over 2 spacious floors. It sleeps up to 12 people in 4 bedrooms and 2 mezzanines: two bedrooms have a double bed and their own shower, one bedroom has built-in wooden bunk beds, a single bed and a mezzanine with a single bed; the fourth bedroom has a double bed. On the same floor, there is also a mezzanine with a single bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath.

On the ground floor the spacious open plan lounge/dining area has a high beamed ceiling; it is equipped with an enclosed Norwegian stone fireplace, comfortable seating and a wide-screen plasma TV and has a 36m2 decked terrace accessible through sliding doors.

The fully equipped kitchen area is separated by a breakfast bar. It has all the conveniences of a modern home (microwave, toaster, coffee maker…) and other useful appliances such as raclette and fondue sets.

Also available: a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a study area with a flat screen computer and unlimited wireless internet connection, covered parking space and baby kit (including cot, high chair, changing table and feeding accessories).
