It enjoys an excellent position a few minutes walk from the Bellevue ski lifts and bottom of Kandahar World Cup ski run and in the heart of Les Houches village, minutes walk away are shops, several excellent restaurants, bus stops and the tourist office.
This property is a renovated 170 year old country farmhouse constructed from valley stone and ancient timbers. It has been lovingly converted by the owner into a charming, traditionally decorated ski lodge. The unique character of the building has been preserved and the use of natural materials and country decor reflects the spirit of a bygone age. The property enjoys 6 comfortable bedrooms, 4 bath or shower rooms and 6 x wc whilst there is a outdoor hot tub for après ski relaxing.
The chalet is decorated in the traditional French style so lots of pretty gingham fabrics and decoration create a wonderful ski chalet ambience. Most bedrooms have ample cupboard space. Duvets, soft pillows and crisp bed linen included.
The heart of the house is an enormous and well equipped farmhouse kitchen with hand-built cupboards and a traditional terracotta stone floor. The old pine dressers, blue crockery and dried flowers draw inspiration from Country Living and it is the ideal place for cosy aprés ski hot chocolate. There is a large 'Aga' style range cooker (that can also be wood fired) 5 gas burners, microwave, fridge freezer and electric oven offer aspiring chefs the best facilities in which to create delicious meals.
The chalet is best for 12 adults plus 2 children.

It's an 8-10 min drive by car to Chamonix town.
Ground floor On the ground floor you enter the property into a hallway which leads to a enormous country style kitchen.
There is a large French model 'AGA' range and free standing antique pine cupboards. There is a hand built dinning table with seating for 12 guests. A terracotta floor, dresser with pretty crockery and the original wood panelling.
