The beautiful Chalet Anna, which comfortably sleeps 10, was designed by the famous architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. It's 100 yards from the Le Prarion lift in Les Houches village, the sunniest part of the Chamonix Valley, just below the main town itself.
Set in its own landscaped gardens, it boasts unsurpassed views of the Mont Blanc mountain range, which can be enjoyed through the large windows on the ground floor or from the petite balconies off the bedrooms.
The welcoming atmosphere of this sophisticated chalet greets you as soon as you enter, with a striking 'free floating' stairway and a glass fronted fire that opens onto the hallway on one side & the inviting, open plan living area on the other.
The chalet has a fully fitted, open plan kitchen and large living and dining area, with a dining table that seats 10, a seating area facing the ample flat screen TV and yet more seats for cosying up infront of the fire. There is also plenty of outside decking & garden space, to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the spectacular Mont Blanc views.
Although modern in style and incredibly elegant, the chalet retains a relaxed feel, with books on the shelves & prints on the walls. It is decorated in a gorgeously eclectic style; Persian rugs, 50s designer furniture and rare antiques including a 16th century Italian chest, can be found dotted around the Chalet.
Chalet Anna has a driveway with a security barrier, garage parking for 1 car and outside parking for 1 more car.
This is a superb chalet, in a perfect location. The pretty village boasts it own ski area, bars, restaurants & plenty of entertainment when not on the slopes and the resort prides itself on its family friendly status. Chamonix is only a 5-10 minute drive away if you want to explore the town itself & the rest of the valley. |
