marmotte mountain hideaway 2 is a luxury 5 bedroom catered ski chalet, beautifully located in the village of argentiere in the chamonix valley. built to a great high-end finish, the chalet sleeps 10-11 guests comfortably with capabilities of sleeping an additional person if required.

marmotte mountain hideaway 2 can be rented independently or together with marmotte mountain hideaway 1 to cater for groups of up to 19-21.

marmotte mountain hideaway 2 is less than three years old; therefore all of the features within the chalet are in great condition.  the chalet has a fantastic location, situated less than 100m from les grands montets ski resort in argentiere - quite a rare privilege for the chamonix valley.

the property also has the added luxury of having its own private indoor heated swimming pool and a swedish sauna located in the downstairs basement - what better way to relax after a hard day on the mountain.

and new for season 2008/09, is the installation of a new luxury outdoor hot tub!

the chalet has 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 bedroom downstairs, all with use of their own bathroom. all five bedrooms can be made up as either king doubles or twins. one of the bedrooms upstairs also has a bunk bed cleverly designed within the wardrobe, allowing this room to be used as a triple bedroom.

the ground floor area hosts the large flat screen television complete with home cinema sound system.  comfortable leather lounges and a wood burning stove are carefully placed to allow you to sit back and relax and enjoy these great facilities.  there is also a large sliding glass door that opens out onto a wooden deck where you can find the new luxury outdoor hot tub.

the upstairs living area hosts to the spacious dining room and bar along with 2 comfortable lounge chairs. you will also find another log burning stove upstairs to add to the ambience and charm of being in this beautiful mountain chalet.

the upstairs living area also has a balcony with spectacular views of the mont blanc mountain range

for larger groups of up to 19-21, it is also possible to reserve marmotte mountain hideaway 1 - this chalet is located directly next door but is joined in the basement area to share the swimming pool and sauna.

New for the 08-09 season is the outstanding new Chef. Fully trained with extensive experience in fine dining restaurants and 5* silver service, ensuring the meals being served are of an exceptionally high standard. Each morning there will be a full continental breakfast comprising of fresh bread and pastries, a selection of yogurts, cereals, local meats and cheeses, a large fruit bowl and freshly brewed tea and coffee. A cooked breakfast can be arranged for those who so desire. Upon return to the chalet after your day on the mountain, you may help yourself to an afternoon tea made up of freshly baked cakes, muffins or cookies, tea and coffee or a nice cold beer from the chalet fridge to help you unwind. For dinner, you will be served a delicious four-course meal accompanied by a good selection of local French wine. For those looking to treat themselves, there is also an extensive and growing wine cellar that can accommodate most tastes. We are also able to cater for any special dietary requirements. Dinner is provided for 5 out of the 7 nights. This allows you the opportunity to also experience some of Chamonix's great fine dining restaurants, which we can help arrange for you.
