Chalet Alana is a recent addition for the 09/10 season and sure to be a popular choice due to its excellent location. The main ski area of Les Bergers on the East side of Alpe d’Huez is just a 300m (approx) stroll from the chalet and the ski school meeting point is even closer. There is a small selection of shops and bars in Les Bergers, or the main resort centre with its lively nightlife, host of restaurants and range of après ski activities is only 500m (approx) away.

Chalet Alana offers exactly what a traditional family chalet should – a spacious lounge/dining area, a large open fire and good sized bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. The décor in the living room is charming with many locally sourced antiquities. This is an attractive and generously apportioned chalet which when combined with a south facing balcony to catch the late afternoon sun makes this a very welcome chalet to return to after a great day on the slopes.

Food matters a lot to us and we take great care in planning and creating our delicious menus. They are designed to give you what your body needs for active days on the mountain.

- We continue to offer FREE unlimited wine until coffee and there is also the opportunity to upgrade your wine at dinner

A hearty breakfast

Begin your ski day with fresh bread, a choice of preserves, cereals, porridge, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice and unlimited tea and coffee, PLUS a simple cooked option of eggs and one other hot item.

On your return from the slopes

A freshly baked cake or biscuits with tea and coffee awaits…..

In the evening

Enjoy a delicious freshly cooked 3 course meal with unlimited wine until coffee on 6 out of 7 nights.

We also provide bath, hand towels and soap.

Packed Lunches

If you've still got room for lunch after our hearty breakfast, we can help you avoid the queues and expensive mountain restaurants with a packed lunch, freshly made that morning by your chalet host. Available in our European chalets and Ski Lodges for either 3 or 5 days, it includes a sandwich, piece of fruit, carton of juice, cereal bar and packet of crisps. Priced at £15 for 3 days and £25 for 5 days, who needs to worry about blowing the budget?

New for the 2011/2012 season, we have introduced our Wine Menu - a collection of carefully chosen mixed wine cases ranging from local specialities to the Connoisseurs collection.
